Tropical Amaranth semi gravy or siru keerai semi gravy


INGREDIENTS

Mustard seeds.                 2 tsp
Pepper.                               2 tsp
Salt
Cummin seeds.                 2 tsp
Siru keerai.                         2 bowls
Small onions.                    15
Tomatoes.                          4
Dried red Chilli.                  6
Moong dhal.                      100g

PREPARATION

Wash and chop the greens, Onions, tomatoes and place it in a bowl.  Take a cooker and fill with moong dhal, water, turmeric, spinach.  After three whistles, Check all the ingredients are nicely cooked.

In a pan, pour 5 tsp of oil, Mustard seeds, pepper, cummin seeds, dry red Chilli,Onions and tomatoes.  Cook for few minutes.  Pour the cooker contents and stir it.  Finally sprinkle some salt, coriander leaves and boil it.  After few minutes, turn off the flame and serve hot with white rice.
